Early Game

Jayce top is ranged AD bully. Start Doran's Blade or Doran's Shield + 2 pots. Lethal Tempo or Press the Attack keystone for sustained AA trades.

Level 1 push wave fast, force enemy under tower. Level 2 spike with W or E for kill pressure. Track jungler — squishy AD tops die to ganks.

Mid Game

Galeforce + Berserker's Greaves + Youmuu's Ghostblade is your spike. Jayce carries sidelane and shreds objectives.

Lethality items = pick squishies in skirmishes. Serylda's Grudge 3rd-4th item shreds tank armor.

Late Game

Backline carry. Stand 600+ behind frontline. AA + ability rotation kills priority targets. Guardian Angel 5th-6th item = revive after dive.

Mortal Reminder vs healing comp. Edge of Night vs CC. Bloodthirster sustain late game.

Win Condition

Win lane → carry teamfight → kite backline. Jayce scales harder than melees, weaker than dedicated ADCs.

Win: 50%+ kill participation + 2+ towers + 5+ assists/kills late. Lose to: hard-engage on you (Malphite R, J4 R).

Power Spikes

Level 2 — Q + W or E unlocked. Level 6 — R for kill confirmation. Galeforce (1st item) — gap-close + AS spike. Berserker's Greaves — AS for AA-heavy kit. Level 11 — R rank 2 + 3 items. Serylda's Grudge (3rd-4th item) — armor pen vs tanks.

Tips & Combos

Combos:

  • Q (poke) -> auto -> W or E proc = chunk damage
  • Galeforce dash + R combo = surprise burst
  • AA reset abilities preserve DPS

Anti-tips:

  • Don't dive without team setup — ranged ADs are squishy
  • Don't AA in melee — kite at max range
  • Don't waste R on missed positioning — wait for clean shot

Pro tricks:

  • TP behind enemy team for flanking burst
  • Lethal Tempo stacks during sustained DPS — stay in fight
  • Ult priority on enemy ADC, not tanks
