Early Game

Yasuo early lane is short-trade duelist. Start Doran's Shield + 2 pots. Look for level 2 spike with Q + W or Q + E combo.

Freeze near tower if matched into a heavy CC top. Track jungler — skirmishers die to gank pressure. Use mobility to dodge CC skillshots.

Mid Game

Divine Sunderer + Plated Steelcaps is your spike. Mobility kit = roam mid post-6 or flank objective fights. Death's Dance 2nd item = 1v2 sidelane threat.

Divine Sunderer % max-HP damage shreds tanks. Conqueror + Lethal Tempo stacking gives sustain in extended trades.

Late Game

Backline diver. Yasuo dashes through frontline to kill ADC. Sterak's Gage tenacity + GA second life = guaranteed pickoff.

Build Death's Dance vs AD comp. Maw of Malmortius vs AP comp. Avoid fighting in melee range with team — dive carry only.

Win Condition

Win 1v1 sidelane → dive backline 5v5. Yasuo carries both phases — split push for picks, then collapse on ADC.

Win: 3+ ADC kills + 2+ solo sidelane kills. Lose to: hard-CC top laners (Renekton, Camille) — need Mercury's Treads + Maw.

Power Spikes

Level 2 — Q + W or E unlocked. Level 6 — R for guaranteed pickoff. Divine Sunderer (1st item) — % max-HP damage = tank shredder. Plated Steelcaps + Death's Dance — 2-item armor + sustain spike. Level 11 — R rank 2 + 3 items = backline assassin. Sterak's Gage (4th item) — tenacity vs CC chain.

Tips & Combos

Combos:

  • Q (dash) -> auto reset -> W (engage) -> AA + Conqueror stacks = burst combo
  • Use E to dodge enemy ult, then dash in for the kill
  • Flash + R execute on low-HP target = global pressure

Anti-tips:

  • Don't dive without Sterak's — full burst = dead before flash
  • Don't fight in tank cluster — dive ADC or back off
  • Don't waste R on full-HP tank — execute threshold matters

Pro tricks:

  • Dash through wall to bait enemy approach
  • Flash + dash gap-close skips most CC
  • Conqueror stacks while moving — stay in fight, don't disengage early
