Early Game

Syndra mid lane is burst-combo trade. Start Doran's Ring + 2 pots. Push wave with Q for first 2 levels — force enemy under tower and deny CS.

Level 2 spike: Q + W or Q + E combo can chunk 30%+ HP. Track jungler — burst mages die to ganks before Flash. Ward river at 2:30.

Mid Game

Luden's Companion + Sorcerer's Shoes is your spike. Syndra bursts squishies from 600+ range. Roam side lanes post-6 — your R closes long-range pickoff windows.

Shadowflame 2nd item for magic pen on shielded targets. Zhonya's 3rd vs dive comp. Track Flash CDs — Flash + R is the kill window.

Late Game

Backline AP burst. Stand mid-line at 700+ range. Combo priority targets (ADC/mid). Rabadon's Deathcap 4th-5th item = 35% AP increase.

Void Staff vs MR stacking. Zhonya's bait combos with full burst. Avoid getting caught alone — squishy + no escape = dead.

Win Condition

Burst one target → snowball pickoffs → close before scaling. Syndra carries by deletion, not by sustained damage.

Win: 3+ R kills + 2+ roams kills. Lose to: assassin counters (Zed, Talon) — need Zhonya's 1st item.

Power Spikes

Level 2 — full burst combo unlocked. Level 6 — R for guaranteed kill window. Luden's Companion (1st item) — wave clear + burst proc. Sorcerer's Shoes — magic pen for true damage burst. Level 11 — R rank 2 + 2-3 items = 100% HP delete on squishies. Rabadon's Deathcap (5th item) — 35% AP amplifier.

Tips & Combos

Combos:

  • Q -> W (or E) -> auto + Comet proc + R = full burst combo
  • Hit Q on enemy minion line to bait approach, then full combo
  • Flash + R for guaranteed cross-screen execute

Anti-tips:

  • Don't engage solo without burst combo ready
  • Don't waste mana — manage for the actual kill window
  • Don't ult full-HP target — wait for burst threshold

Pro tricks:

  • Arcane Comet keystone procs every Q if landed at max range
  • Push wave under tower mid-game, then roam — mid lane unwarded
  • Stack passive procs BEFORE the actual combo by pre-poking
